Healing

Heyo everyone. This blog is part one of a three part blog series that I have written but haven’t been able to post lately. This part one will focus on healing.

Healing is an extremely important part of the human life. It is very easy for us to get hurt, either physically, mentally, or emotionally. This pain can slowly overwhelm us. That’s why we need to take the time to heal. However, healing takes a lot of time sometimes. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been battling a pretty nasty sickness. It really knocked me on my rear. It’s been a tough little go. I think the big thing was my focus on trying to get back on my feet. In doing so, I completely forgot to wait until I was fully recovered. I was so intent on getting back on my feet that I forgot to make sure my feet were underneath me. This caused the process of healing to take even longer, because I kept pushing myself beyond my limit. It really did a toll. I finally realized that I have to sit and heal. And so here I am. Healing. Life is good now.

Bleh

Heyo everyone, this weeks blog is late for the reason I plan on discussing.

I haven’t been as sick as I am now in a very long time. This has been such a huge hiccup in my life so far. It has delayed my numbers, cost me a weeks worth of work, thrown my education on a loop, everything seems to be going down the drain. For me, this is one of the worst times to get sick because it’s right in the prime of kung fu, my diplomas start tomorrow, everything is ahhhhhh. I guess my main goal for these few weeks is to keep my head up and push through.

Work and Play

Heyo everyone, this week’s blog is about the balance between work and play.

During my shift at work yesterday, it was probably one of the most entertaining shifts I had. Very rarely do the different departments interact for extended amounts of times whilst on the floor. However, for some reason, a lot of people wanted 300lb treadmills yesterday, so there was a lot of interaction. As the night progressed, everyone seemed to get more jubilant, and by the end, the staff were running through departments having an elastic band fight in the near empty store. And everything got finished that night, even with 2 people calling in sick.

I found the balance of work and play fell just right, so that not only was everyone’s efficiency at working boosted, but they enjoyed themselves as well. One thing I’m definitely gonna focus on is maintaining the balance of my work and play.
